HMI of FEB Unsyiah Held Journalistic Training

HMI (Islamic Students Association) of Economics and Business Faculty (FEB) Unsyiah held journalistic training, Tuesday (10/10) at the Faculty of Economics and Business Hall (FEB). This event was attended by 90 participants by presenting Yarmen Dinamika, Executive Editor Serambi Indonesia Daily.

Yarmen explained in writing news there are some elements that must be met, such as news must be actual, interesting, has a news value, unique, and the story is important to be reported (human interest story). The trainees are also taught the concept of multiangle news with 3W + 4B formula that aims to provide practical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual benefits for the readers.

Amril Katalies, representative of HMI Banda Aceh branch appreciated the activity and hoped that students can express their aspiration not only through verbal, but also in written form.

"The writing skill is absolutely owned by the students as a scholar, so write it for you to be immortal in your work," he said.

While Annisa Polahayati, chairman of the committee, said the training is important to be implemented in order to improve students' writing skills for the better. In addition, he wrote writing has economic value that can be achieved from royalty novel best seller or a travel blogger. []
