The Planning and Public Relations Bureau (BPHM) of Syiah Kuala University held a work meeting to prepare a work program for 2021. The activity was opened by Vice Rector IV Prof. Dr. Hizir on the 2nd Floor of the USK LP2M Meeting Room. (Banda Aceh, January 15, 2021).
In his remarks Prof. Hizir said he really appreciated the performance of BPHM so far both from the Planning Department and the Public Relations Division. Dr. Hizir is grateful for a number of prestigious achievements that have been achieved by these two work units.
For example, the Planning Department which won an A for the Government Agencies Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) report. Meanwhile, the Public Relations Division also won two prestigious awards.
The first was from the Central Information Commission (KIP) regarding information on public services in which USK won achievements in the quite informative category. Second, from the 2020 Higher Education Public Relations Award (AHD) held by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
In this event, USK won awards for two categories, namely 1st place in the Press Release and Press Conference category, then 1st runner up for the Website Pages category. In each of these categories, Unsyiah competes with fellow Public Service Agency Colleges.
"Alhamdulillah, hopefully we can maintain this achievement, and we also keep trying to be even better," said Prof. Hizir.
On this occasion, Prof. Hizir also hopes that the BPHM work program will be able to adjust to the current conditions of higher education. Where this year USK is trying to transform from PTN PK-BLU to PTN BH.
Meanwhile, Head of BPHM, Abdul Rochim, M.Pd. said, all the achievements of BPHM so far cannot be separated from the support and solid performance of this work unit.
For this reason, Abdul Rochim hopes that today's work meeting can strengthen communication within the BPHM internally. On the other hand, he also assessed that this work meeting is very important for joint evaluation so that it can be more optimal in supporting the vision and mission of this university.
