The Accounting Student Association (Himaka), Faculty of Economics and Business Unsyiah held the 23rd Scientific Accounting Week (PIA), Monday (11/16/2020). This annual routine activity was held virtually. The agenda lasts for a week, November 16-22, 2020.
The activity began with a series of opening ceremony for the XXIII PIA. The opening was also attended by the Director General of the Indonesian Treasury, Dr. Andin Hadiyanto MA, who acted as the Keynote Speaker. In addition, the activity was also attended by all of the FEB Unsyiah academic community.
The Chairman of HIMAKA, T Ichsanul Aulia, said that this year's PIA has a different concept from the previous year, namely virtually. This year's PIA raises the theme Accounting and business in the new normal era: What Changes to be made?
Chairperson of the PIA XXIII Committee Muhammad Arief Phonna added, the 23rd scientific accounting week event was an event formed from the innovation of all HimakA committees and administrators, so that an event was formed that could be carried out fully online. The hope was that this activity could increase knowledge and insight for the masses.
The XXIII PIA also has five series of activities, namely International Webinars, Accounting Cycle, Continuing Professional Education (PPL), Public Speaking Contest (PSC) and ECTAAC (Economic Tax Accounting PIA Quizziz Challenge).
Meanwhile, the Head of the Accounting Department, Deputy Dean II, and Vice Chancellor III of Syiah Kuala University in his remarks expressed his appreciation to Himaka students who are still able to create and innovate amid pandemic conditions.
After the Opening Ceremony series was completed, it was immediately followed by the first series of activities, namely an International Webinar with the speaker Asaf Dori MScBA (Lecturer and Researcher in Cybersecurity, University of Sydney Business School), Hendi Yogi Prabowo PhD (Director of Research, ACFE Indonesia), Dr. Islahuddin ( Senior lecture at Syiah Kuala University) and guided by moderator Dr. Ratna Mulyany BACC, MACC.
