Prof. Samsul said today's cooperation was an extension of the long-standing cooperation between the two institutions. As one of the oldest and best universities in Indonesia, Unsyiah feels that collaboration with ITB is very important. He also invited ITB students to be able to study one semester at Unsyiah so they could get to know Aceh better. This program is easy to implement, because the Faculty of Engineering and FMIPA Unsyiah, which is a field of study close to ITB, has been accredited A. Meanwhile, ITB Rector Prof. Reini said that his party strives to always expand cooperation in an effort to address the gap between east and west or between Java and outside Java. Higher education, according to him, has a big role in providing solutions to the problems of the nation.

He also expressed his pride because many ITB alumni have become lecturers at Unsyiah. He hopes that they can continue the ITB tradition and make Unsyiah a PTN with a good, critical, and visionary academic atmosphere. (Public Relations Unsyiah / fer)
